NJ SEED: Scores of massive wind turbines are scheduled to be place off the New Jersey shore along the path used by migratory birds. These giant wind turbines have been dubbed Avian Cuisinarts. Evidence documents that thousands of birds and bats have been killed by the relatively few wind turbines already in place along the Atlantic Shelf. Without mitigation, the potential for serious environmental impact is evident.
